Hi guys! Looking for an honest review of my salary. I'm currently up for a promotion: I would replace the person above me in the team structure, effectively combining both positions and becoming the only team lead of my team. HR is not very inclined to up my salary and have asked me to send in a proposal myself. I'm not sure how to proceed, 4% bumps are typical in our company but that would only land me € 80 net, which is not a lot of a difference for a lot more responsibility. Any and all input on how to move forward in this negotiation would be greatly appreciated!
