So I started working last year as a student for this company, and I really like it there (the colleagues, the benefit of being close to me, the sector which I find very interesting and I even considered taking evening classes to improve my understanding of STEM related things). Now that I graduated I got an offer from them, but I am very hesitant as it is not really what I am looking for. I saw this job as a student job and not something I'd want to do as a career start. I'm a bit burned out of administration so it doesn't feel like i'm going to enjoy it. Also it doesn't give me much perspective on my future within the company. I explained them the issue, and they offered me to change the job description a bit, and gave me some IT related responsabilities, but it's still too much related to administration and repetitive task.
Also, they just laid off a colleague, and I'd have to take over their tasks. Which means that I'll have much more work to handle for the same wage.
