Rate my salary - Communications Manager at non-profit trade association

I have about 4 years of xp. I've started this job 2 months ago and I am not at all happy. They hired me as Comms manager but I have the authority of an intern. They keep telling me "you are the manager you have the final say" but every call I make, every content I write gets micromanaged by people who don't have any comms related qualifications. I mean they "proofread" my texts and change things like "top priority" to "first priority" (useless correction) and sometimes even edit my correct sentence into incorrect ones like "shed light on something" was changed into "bring light on something" which is not the correct use in English. So it's pretty frustrating for me to endure this. I keep telling myself at least the pay isn't too bad (gross is much lower than my previous job where I had 3300eur but the after tax benefits makes this one higher) but I am not so sure if it's good enough to put up with it. I can work 4 days from home which is a plus but yeah...

It's stressful tho since I am the only one doing my tasks so basically I need to make sure everything is ready enough for a monkey to press the share button for when I am off.

Is your job stressful? Not the job content but dealing with people yes.
