The reason of my post is that I doubt I have a good package, especially compared to my peers from my Masters. I started at this position recently, and during the negotiation process I now feel I played it a bit too amateurish; accepted immediately the first offer, and did not counteroffer. I felt I would have to play humble and accept the offer, especially since they offered the sign-in bonus upfront. But soon after I felt a bit fooled. Although I essentially have an entry position, it is clear I have previous experience that is relevant to the job, and I have skills above average entry-level, so that does not help me feel like I did a fair negotiation. On glassdoor, this same position has a €3200 average base salary.

In addition, I was expecting a better mobility package. Back then I had another offer on the table (but was a small company, with a lower base salary of €2700 which I renegotiated to €2885) which offered a package in line with the Belgian mobiliteitsbudget program. With this program, I would take the option of living close to the office and get net extra of €400 (other option could be taking a car). The rest was relatively the same, except for the sign-in bonus.
