I'm quite happy with the job, however I feel like I should be earning more and my last raise was almost 4 years ago. I know for a fact my colleagues with >20years seniority are making 21-23€/hour. I'm also considered the go-to guy for people having questions, the supervisor's right-hand if you will.
On the other hand, I have applied to other companies in the area but their offers range between €15,50-16,50€/hour. The highest offer so far was 17,75€ but that required shift work. I'm not interested in shift work, or a promotion to supervisor or junior management to get a raise. Because I don't want the extra responsibilities, my family always comes first.
TLDR; I kinda feel stuck in a silver cage, and feel like I deserve a raise.
