So, I'm a manager in a small entity that's semi-public and does large governement investment projects. We're part of the federal government, but we're structured as a private company, with the federal gov as our only shareholder. You won't have heard of us. We're one of these constructions that nobody knows exists, and we exist between the actual administrations and the executive branch. I lead a team of about 50-100 external contractors to do what I do. I don't wanna give my exact title, as what I do is pretty niche. Has nothing to do with IT though.

I do make a lot, but thinking of freelancing, I could easily get a 1200/day rate.
