I have the feeling that the PhD and postdoc years have not been fully transferred to seniority, although I have a relevant background in chemical engineering and production engineering. Also Gent area seems to be paying less.

I have received competitive job offers for similar roles, but kind of working on/developing to/waiting on growing to a role with more responsibilities. Trying to convince HR to offer mobility budget as well…
