6. OTHER

  • How easy can you plan a day off: Easily but summer/winter holidays need to be requested months in advance. Other than that I simply have to come to an agreement with my colleague. There has to be at least one production planner on site every day.
  • Is your job stressful? It can be very tense especially when the machinery breaks down causing delivery times to be at risk. That's when managers and sales divisions start breathing down our necks. But we are not expected to be on standby, 9 to 5 mentality is ok.
  • Education possibilities: Very sparse.
  • Responsible for personnel (reports): Indirectly since I am planning the entire factory's workflow, but I am not a manager.
