# Rate my current salary & help decide on a new proposal: Senior Data Scientist

I just got a new offer from a US startup for a Lead DS offering the equivalent of 93K per year + 46K in equity and I am torn since I'm not really sure how does it compare. I know some of the team members from the startup and they are nice. I don't have a lot of experience with the freelance world and I hope to get some advice if anyone can help.
