  • I probably forgot some stuff but you get the picture

Our house loan weighs quite heavily on everything especially cuz it wasn't supposed to be that much. The plan was max 1300 but life got in the way i guess. + at the time our house was built i was in the hospital for about 8 months fighting cancer so i couldn't follow up as much as i wanted to. This also cost us some amount of money even while having health insurance.

In my own opinion we have way too many costs alltogether but most of them are - unavoidable i'd say?

Since last year I took on a extra job during some weekends (flexijob) I try working at least 2 times a month on saturday to earn a bit more but sometimes i have too much work with lessons and stuff so i just don't have the time. I work on saturday as a dishwasher at a restaurant from 17.00pm to about 02.00am earning me +/-115 extra each time. Its nice but i dont know how much longer my bad back will keep allowing me to do this.

My salary isn't bad in my eyes but we've had some shit setbacks (bad luck with the house construction, cancer, hernia last year, car broke down few years ago,...) If i'd been alone i would maybe work more in school vacations but I wanna spend time with my kids and wife. It is what it is.

  • feel free to comment btw just don't bash my life decisions too much if you can restrain yourself 🤪😆
