I recently quit my job at a big construction company (industrial+office buildings). Was assigned to 2 of their big projects, which I followed from start to finish in about 1,5 years. Wasn't very busy with it though, so they gave me some odd jobs on the side. Figured it was the right time to quit when these 2 were close to finishing and nothing new came my way. Other collegues in my position were very busy, while most only had 1 main project. Lots of people wasting lots of time on useless meetings, phonecalls and driving around from the office to and from the construction site. Also, I'm very fast with tech, which seems to be an anomily in this field (mostly run by seniors).

So I was thinking of moving up a position (project manager) and doing it freelance, but I only have limited experience and no masters degree. Junior project manager seems the better option, but I don't think any company would want to put effort in educating a freelancer.

Main thing is that I feel like I have huge potential and want to earn a lot more money. Both companies I've worked for have given me a lot of praise and multiple raises (started with 2350 net, without benefits). Any tips on what positions I can best apply for to earn the most money (short or long term)? I would like to work for a project-developer, but I'm open to anything construction-related. Thanks!

Also, feel free to rate my last salary.
